Chapter 3: Social Media Marketing Strategys

 The chapter this week talked about a guide for developing social media marketing strategies. With the world constantly changing, social media marketing is now more important than ever, and companies that don't invest in marketing from social media, than they will fall behind and will eventually be forgotten. If a business goes active on social media without a proper strategy can be detrimental for brands. One of the first and probably the most important one, is to select which platform or platforms you advertise your product on. It is also important to note that different  platform have different demographics. If you want advertise a product that is targeted towards a younger demographic, you wouldn't want to advertise on Facebook, as the majority of their users are older. You would want to advertise on TikTok, where the demographic much lower than Facebook's. Being active on social media is very important for a brand to grow, and if they aren't active, then the brand won't get as much recognition. This chapter helped me learn that if your in charge of a social media team, the main focus should be being as active as possible.
